The Daily GOP Ignominious: CPAC….Typical GOP Garbage, Tea Party Books Black Conservautve, Draws A Racist

If you want to see something absolutely ridiculous and an obvious money-grab checkout this link.  The GOP and CPAc has its cadre (albeit it small) Of African Americans who have carved out a very profitable niche for the party. People who are ‘at-the-ready’, to posit, proclaim, argue and make paid appearances to speak about the ills of the Democratic Party and the nation’s social progressives. They do so quite willingly, but are noticeable quiet and hidden as consistently and growing racism oozes from GOP supports and in some cases officials.  I have yet to hear the likes of Cain West, and this Smith guy, write or say one word about the overwhelming racism focused on President Obama.  They do not speak in contempt about the racist rants of Rush, Limbaugh and Coulter, Beck not for that matter Bill O’Reilly. Yet, these same people will expend unimaginable energy in the pursuit of paid opportunities to speak disparagingly about the Left.
Before we move to yet another failed GOP/CPAC strategy, let’s explore the host facilitator of a CPAC/GOP ‘minority out reach session”.

Now how about couple of headlines from K. Carl Smith’s website blog page of the site.

The Progressive Press: Open Letter to Obama Haters

In An Open Letter to all People who Hate the President, Glenn beck, President Obama, progressives, Socialist Marxist Muslim Communist Nazi Fascist Kenyan Anti-colonialist, Tea Party, The Progressive Press on March 6, 2013 at 3:48 PM

Cross posted from The Progressive Press with special authorization by the author: Jeff.

An Open Letter to all People who Hate the President

obama

It’s fine to be a conservative who disagrees with Obama politically. He is a fallible human being. Like any politician, he deserves criticism now and then. Progressives criticize him all the time because his policies are more conservative than many thought he would be.

If you would say “Obama is wrong on this issue and here’s why”, I could respect that. But it’s something else to be a hard-core Glenn Beck parroting, Bush-was-God, Obama-is-Satan, damn-the-facts, anyone-who-disagrees-with-me-is-a-communist, conservative.

Sometimes it’s hard to comprehend the level of hatred you have for President Obama. This hatred is not about dissent and it began long before he even took office and doesn’t seem to stem from anything he’s done as president.

From the day he was inaugurated, all over the country you began protesting Obama’s tax increases even though he had only lowered your taxes. Although he’s offered more proof of his origin of birth than any president in history, nearly half of you still believe Obama was not born in America, 57% believe he is Muslim, and 24% said he may be the Anti-Christ.

Before Obama took office, congressional Republicans decided that they would oppose every single bill that Obama supported. They used the filibuster to prevent all legislation from being voted on, including bills that Republicans themselves had co-sponsored. When president Obama decided to embrace a lot of Republican ideas like Cap and Trade, the individual mandate for health insurance and the Dream Act, these Republican ideas suddenly were denounced as Socialism and received zero Republican votes.
Even normally routine matters that Congress usually deals with on a bi-partisan basis, like a transportation bill or raising the debt ceiling, were held up by Republicans who didn’t want anything to get done during Obama’s presidency. By nearly letting America default on its debts, Tea Party Republicans even managed to lower our country’s credit rating, and then blamed Obama for it.

You even blamed Obama for the worst recession in 80 years even though it began over a year before he took office.
You have totally immersed yourself in anti-Obama hate speech, you can’t even state the man’s name, calling him O-BUM-a. You just repeat whatever you hear from right wing hate sites without exercising independent thought:

“Obama is a (pick one) Socialist/Marxist/Muslim/Communist/Nazi/Fascist/Kenyan/Anti-colonialist” or “Obama is trampling the Constitution”, “Obama hates America”, “Obama wants to control our lives”, “Obama has declared war on religion”, etc.

These are not facts or even fact-based opinions; they are examples of hate speech.

Back when Bush was president, his critics said things like “Bush allowed higher levels of arsenic and mercury in our drinking water”, “Bush violated the 4th Amendment by illegally authorizing warrantless wiretaps on American citizens”, “Bush used false information to start an unnecessary war”, “Bush started the two longest wars in our nation’s history, presided over two recessions, increasing poverty rates, a collapse of our financial system, and turned a huge budget surplus into a trillion dollar deficit”.

These criticisms of Bush resulted from things he actually said or did, not by what we thought about him personally. Every President of the United States has been loved by some people and hated by others and progressives certainly criticized Bush harshly. But that criticism was not out of a personal hatred of the man, it was about his policies and his actions as president. I don’t recall when anyone questioned his citizenship, claimed he hated the country, or suggested he sides with our enemies.

You actually accuse Obama of hating white people, of siding with the terrorists who attacked our country and wanting to euthanize the elderly, even though you have no facts or even a rational argument to support these claims.

You don’t seem to see the difference between hate-driven opinion and fact-based opinion.

You still worship at the altar of George W. Bush and refuse to acknowledge that he was anything less than God-like in his perfection, while attack Obama as “un-American” for doing some of the exact same things you praised President Bush for doing.

I’d hate to conclude that this is all based on race. Republicans hated Bill Clinton too, but we didn’t see quite this level of loathing toward him. Republicans did not filibuster every single bill to keep it from being voted on or actively work to halt the economic recovery like they have done with Obama. When Clinton was president, Republicans actually did reach compromises with him. When Obama pleads with Republicans to work out a compromise with him, they outright reject even the use of the word “compromise”.
Warning: Video has profanity

Your hatred of Obama is not an act of patriotism. Quite the opposite, by immersing yourself in all your right wing Obama-hating web sites you’re unable or unwilling to have any kind of meaningful political discussion. You are preventing this country from making any kind of positive progress by letting your personal hatred of this man allow anything positive to get done in this country. And you are doing your country great harm.

As is always the case in America where there is great news, there is an abyss of balancing bad news for the majority in the populations. That means you and me! As a holding of equities in various portfolios (vehicles) I experienced major glee in watching market improvements the from Barack Obama’s first inauguration to the high mark of yesterday (Chart I above 1.20.2009 – 3.5.2013).  That glee was accompanied by a peep at the second chart (just) above which reminded me that any portfolio holdings have grown exponentially since my initial set of investments.

Hold that glee!!!”

http://www.urrydemocrats.org
There is a down side for all of us, even those with appreciable portfolio holdings and especially for those who are not in the higher income strata. Conversely,  the news is historic and great if you are a corporation.  Mitt Romney and many in the GOP feel corporations are “people”.   If that is the case then we have many “Romney people” who are experiencing low tax structures (If they pay taxes at all), we have “Romney people” earning record profits and we have people receiving government subsides during period of astronomical earnings.  Those “Romney people” are very fortunate.

Maddow and her guest, Nobel Prize Economist, Joseph Stiglitz, and Frank Rich, explained phenomena that is purely USA Circa 1980 forward. She delves into income inequity and touches on corporate earnings while her guest reminds the record market is an oasis of good news, and that only.

Toward the end of the segment Nobel Prize winner Stiglitz expresses an affinity for the Tea Party and “it’s intended goal”.  Any mention of the Tea Party brings back dark room horrors of overt racism and hatred for the 44th President of the United States. Isn’t it a shame how past (tea party) visual manifestations and oratory from tea party politicians soiled the brain away from countering thought?

While I have no knowledge of Mr. Stiglitz’s ancestry, I wonder how he would nurture an affinity for a movement that became so very guttural in its actions and core beliefs. I am sure we all recall movements in world history that had a stated purpose, yet carried hidden secrets that harmed to millions”.  ”Shut er down?” Mr. Stiglitz.

I digress.

Maddow, Stiglitz and Rich. Stiglizta and Rich are active in the discussion  the full segment linked below  The following embed represents Maddow’s extrapolation of record stock market corporate earnings and other related matter.  It is truly amazing what we do to know about “US corporate entities of capitalism.”
Maddow full segment with Joseph Stiglitz and Frank Rich. I refuse to accept all stock market news as an indicator of a financial oasis. So, I have looked back at the chart from 1.20.2009 through the record DIJA level of yesterday…….. for a “glass half-full.”

Limbaugh :"Ashamed of His Country", Mere Marketing Strategy

In I am ashamed of my country, Low-information, Rush Limbaugh, Tea Party, unaware and uneducated on February 25, 2013 at 11:19 AM

CPAC self-worship and accolades from the throngs of minions in attendance.

A modern day charlatan-money grabber and his latest ploy. Rush Limbaugh digs deep to re-invigorate his audience.

First a look back at a sampling the core of his demagogue.

“Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble (African American) Jesse Jackson?”  -Limbaugh

Short video segments

Limbaugh on Micheal J. Fox and Parkinson’s Disease… Link

Rush Limbaugh “we need to return to segregated buses… Link

Limbaugh: Sandra Fluke is a slut, free govt, condoms….Link
Now let’s fast-forward to last week.

Towards the middle of last week, Rush Limbaugh decided to give his audience a new “hook”, new mantra, and reverse marketing never before sprinkled across his sycophants.

Audio 2:38 seconds… (At the 1:10 minute mark, the groveling rambling comes to some degree of order and clearly recognizable as audience- centric mantra. Of particular note, was a subsequent show that found Limbaugh speaking of the ‘low-information’ and implies about uneducated supporters of the Left. (See below)

As is the case with all money grabbers, lets take a strategic look at the environment facing Limbaugh and his staff. Strategic assessment includes analyzing the environment: internal strengths and external threats; recognizing weaknesses and opportunities.  In the case of Limbaugh, the multi-millionaire whose fruit is his listener supported contract from Clear Channel, the following has to be a concern.

I. The Daily Kos :

  1. January 6, 2013 2,200+ Limbaugh Sponsors – Gone!
  2. StopRush Dot Net: Rush Limbaugh Sponsor List

II. The Daily Kos

  1. February 17, 2013 Limbaugh Is Losing! With Each Hateful Word, More Sponsors Leave. (300 Left Last Month) Total: 2,500+
The demagogue entertained his audience last week with declarations of “ashamed of his country” and the following double down.
[T]he left has beaten us,” Limbaugh said during his Friday show. “They have created far more low-information, unaware, uneducated people than we’ve been able to keep up with.”

“….low-information, unaware, uneducated…?”

Image

We will not argue with Limbaugh’s demagoguery related to ‘low-information, unaware and uneducated.  The irrefutable proof of Limbaugh’s false prophecy is there for all to see. If one simply reflects back on early tea party rallies, Limbaugh’s descriptive phraseology resonates someplace between that of mirror reflection and a good deal of reverberation from an echo chamber.

Now, take another look at those pictured (tea party rallies) above.  The following chart shows how many may have evolved away from the movement as they realized their beloved tea party was a mere front for money-grabbers with designs on federal and state governance.

The developers of the images and their subjects, including those just above, are certainly very much alive and well in America.  Thus, one should question the veracity of Limbaugh’s comments. Question the comments with a mind towards a marketing horizontal integration strategy.

After the summer of 2011, the tea party was far less visible. We have to think the tea party had served its purpose via infestation of the US Congress. The very congressional infestation that has contributed to GOP obstruction against all things Obama with subsequent harm to a slowly improving economy.

Limbaugh’s “less informed, unaware and uneducated” also has roots in his own political party. Mediaite published a piece in December 2012 in which Joe Scarborough related to a The Weekly Standard Op-Ed written by Bill Kristol. (Video)

On February 19, 2013, Huffington Post ran a piece in which Scarborough again spoke frankly about how Right -wig media are hurting the GOP. He also alludes to some of the more vocal mouth pieces as “money grabbers” (my phrase).

All things considered, It is easy to see why Limbaugh is deploying a form of horizontal integration as new strategy. His cache of demagoguery may need a bit of an upgrade. Let’s face it, when noted right-wingers start to identify Limbaugh, and other money-grabbers, and delineating their deleterious influence on the poli/social Right, even General MacArthur would develop new strategy. Limbaugh is the ideology leader of the Right with Beck running a distant second. Each consistently run a muck with “demagoguery Ben Franklin C notes” escaping their money bags.  They demagogue along with others (Hannity, O’Reilly, Maulkin, Coulter et al) trailing behind for ‘C-notes’ that fall from their bags.

Do you think these folk did not care that Donald Trump had announced he was not going to run for the GOP nomination the day before.

I will wager this one did not bother Limbaugh.

“….low-information, unaware, uneducated…?”

Cruz Exemplifies Quality Of Tea Party Members In Congress

In Armed Services Committee, Chuck Hagel, Tea Party, Ted Cruz, US Congress. Ben Nelson on February 14, 2013 at 4:26 PM

A small image for a very small member of the US Senate.

Newly elected Tea Party Senator from the State of Texas, Ted Cruz,  exhibited uncharacteristically disgusting character and actions at a recent Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing. During the final stages of the Check Hagel nomination and confirmation process  mantel in thew very worse way.

Cruz’s actions were akin to those of Eugene McCarthy anti-communist testimony of the 1950s.  More recently, and with far less acceptable demeanor,  he reminds of Rand Paul attacking Hillary Clinton with lies he took straight from the likes of Glenn Beck.  We understand what it takes to win election in some districts (as evidenced by the elections of Michelle Bachmann, Joe Walsh and Allen West).  It is quite possible constituents in Cruz’s district expect such behavior.  But, should their expectations include flat-out made up lies and sickening, libelous innuendo. Unlike, Rand Paul’s Glenn Beck recital  it appears Cruz simply made-up his McCarthyism.

What do you think?

The Hill….“Ted Cruz slanders war hero, embarrasses Texas and violates Armed Services Committee tradition”

ExcerptNationally, the shameful performance by Cruz, who acted like Joe McCarthy in short pants with his insults of war hero Hagel, illustrates why Republicans keep losing elections, why the Republican and Tea Party brands are in such disrepute, and why the so-called Republican reboot (which I have called the Republican retoot) is still not close to credible.

Since we reported on Cruz’s remarks.  Let’s take a look and listen to the proper way to deal with a “bully”, “mad-dog”, and ” nuisance”, in a statesmanlike manner.  Acts such as the performance by Cruz must be dealt with immediately and with extinguishing impact.  If Tea Party types like Cruz are allowed to spew such venom, the venom gets more outrageous. One last perspective. Cruz is a Senatorial rookie.  Her has been in his Senate seat and office less than two months. Two Months!  He has not even been in office long enough to be able to accurately assess how long it would take flatulence to reach his administrative assistant’s desk before spraying air freshener.  Former Astronaut and Congress from Florida Ben Nelson addresses Senatorial decorum while exhibiting professionalism in his demeanor.

Scarborough hones in…

A minor posit.  We realize the GOP, GOP money grabbers, Dick Armey, Freedom works and others via false mantra (AKA the Tea Party) performed an effective job of stealing the US House of Representatives.  The political operatives and money almost lost the Senate to the Tea Party.  If it were not for a few really quirky candidates, the Senate may have been lost also.  The strategy worked.

Many Americans, for various reasons, bought into the Tea Party. They did so without recognizing they had succumbed to a movement focused on social regression to the nations past vs. truly serious efforts to cut taxes and reduce spending. The Tea Party laden (infested) House was the least productive in recent US History. Cruz is a Senator, granted, and not a member of the Tea Party House, yet there is value in looking at how a cancer in the House contributed to significant lack of growth on issues critical to the nation.

What types of legislation passed the House from the 12,296 bills proposed. (Click Graphic for larger version)

We feel that empirical evidence above speaks to the political and social cancer called the Tea Party. We also state Cruz , as a Senator, appears well molded as a Tea Party politician who will via his presence lower the quality of professional and credibility in the US Congress.

DesJarlais: You told me you’d have an abortion, and now we’re getting too far along without one.

Woman: You told me you would have time to go with me and everything.
DesJarlais: I said, if I could, I would, didn’t I? And I will try. If I can find time, you’re saying you still will?
Woman: Yeah. This is not fair to me. I don’t want you in my life.
DesJarlais: Well, I didn’t want to be in your life either, but you lied to me about something that caused us to be in this situation, and that’s not my fault, that’s yours.
Woman: Well, it’s your fault for sleeping with your patient.
DesJarlais: If we need to go to Atlanta, or whatever, to get this solved and get it over with so we can get on with our lives, then let’s do it. We’ve got to do something soon. And you’ve even got to admit that because the clock is ticking right?

The conversation above was captured and published across the Internet within the past 48 hours.
We post this tragic set of communication here for two simple reasons.
One. People secured legislative seats (Federal and State) via alignment with a false movement sponsored and funded by moneyed republicans and uber wealthy conservatives: Tea Party. The tea party  was no more a valid political movement than the Ku Klux Klan was, and is, a pillar of Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.  It was a tool to pied piper people who resented the election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. and, it was successful!  It was even more successful in as a tool for the ‘money-brokers’ who started and backed the movement, than it was at providing a platform of US congressional obstructionism to fulfill the orders of McConnell, Boehner and Cantor.  The money-brokers were able to stifle significant improvement in the US Economy.  Why would they wish such?  They wish such to secure election of candidates who will put forth and protect politics and practices that benefit their individual agendas while providing a more MACRO-umbrella of “Life is good for business and favorable tax rates”, environment. Plain and simple.
Two. Hypocrisy! It should be no surprise the Tea Party won elections based on false mantra. “Jobs’, Jobs’ Jobs, and cut taxes while reducing spending was the ‘rebel yell’.  the GOP Congress never once introduce a viable bill, thus hampering opportunity to increase public sector hiring.  Boehner and Cantor actually refused to allow votes when they suspect their cohorts would be forced to give jobs bills favorable consideration.  Can you imagine if the Obama Administration had received even a modicum of jobs bills cooperation. It is possible public sector job replenishment might have been at ab better clip. Your friends, relatives and neighbors may have found work. Veterans returning for GOP wars might have opportunity for training and better job opportunity.
Did the Tea Party vote down continued subsides to Big Oil? Did the Tea party help to avoid a downgrade of the US Credit rating. Au Contraire, they were practically identified as the force that contributed to the downgrade (without name).
Beyond hypocrisy  one last point before moving back to the hypocrite congressman. It is irrefutable the Tea Party developed a racist component and following,.  David Duck of the KKK even published a You Tube video about his support for time Tea Party.  One has to only review the number and scope of email captures form GOP officials who practiced overt racism against President Obama.
David Duke and Desjarlais’s Tea Party

We posit Desjarlais is the classic hypocrite.

DesJarlais was swept into office along with many other Tea Party candidates in the 2010 Midterm elections. The congressman ran on a platform of being anti-abortion, pro-god, and pro-morality. Now it seems that DesJarlais, a registered physician, is at odds with his own political platform.

This story was originally broken by The Huffington Post. The unknown female in question was actually a patient of the good doctor, who previously has been accused of holding a gun in his mouth for “hours in one instance.” However, his alleged suicidal fantasies are not the purpose of this column. Court transcripts plainly showcase the hypocrisy of the morally superior Congressman:

I don’t mind telling people that there was no pregnancy, and no abortion,” said Representative Scott DesJarlais, who is running for reelection, in his first comments on the scandal. “But I also don’t mind telling people that this was a protracted two-year divorce back in 1999 and 2000. There was some difficult times, for sure.” DesJarlais, as reported by the Huffington Post this week, taped himself pushing a woman — a patient he’d been sleeping with while working as a physician — to have an abortion, in hopes of showing the recording to his wife and saving his marriage. Needless to say, it did not work out, although apparently he got all worked up and outed himself as a huge hypocritical sleaze for nothing.

Explaining Today’s Great Jobs News

By Guest Blogger on Sep 27, 2012 at 3:30 pm

Our guest blogger is Heather Boushey, a senior economist at the Center for American Progress Action Fund.

New data released this morning by the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that the private-sector added 450,000 more jobs as of March 2012 than previously thought. This means that the economy has crossed the threshold and more jobs have been created than lost during President Obama’s term.
This is a remarkable accomplishment—and one that would not have happened without the Recovery Act and other policies developed by this administration and passed by the 111th Congress in 2009. When President Obama was sworn in, the economy was losing jobs to the unprecedented tune of over 20,000 per day. Between the beginning of 2008 and February 2010 when the tide began to turn, the economy lost nearly 8.8 million jobs—4.3 million on Obama’s watch and almost 4.5 million under President Bush’s.
In February 2009, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was signed into law and funds began almost immediately moving their way through the economy and the pace of job losses slowed, turning positive a year later. Since February 2010, including the newly revised data, the economy has added 4.4 million total payroll jobs, an average of 135,00 per month.

We challenge the Newsroom!

The Progressive Influence in no way actually compares the Tea Party to the Taliban. We wish to differ on this one.

The Taliban are  existentially maniacal in their oppression and their methods of enforcing control over people.  The Tea Party…..uuuugh.  Well, I have just typed myself into a corner.

It is clear the Tea Party is not a murderous band or cult with intent to rule a nation. Well, now other than the literal use of the word “murderous”, I have typed myself into another corner.

The Tea Party does not have roots in religious fervor.   Well, I have now typed myself into another corner.  The Tea Party certainly has fissures into religious dogma that appear as ever-present and growing in matters of State. The Tea Party infestation in the House certainly contributed to the “murderous” downgrade of the US Credit Rating.

Unlike the Taliban, the Tea Party does not work to spread its dogma……Well, I do not think I can finish that thought as I do not wish to paint myself into another corner.

In the long run the Tea Party differs from the Taliban……. Shucks, I am going to end this.  I ran out of corners…….

I think I will watch the six minute Newsroom clip again   Maybe, I can finish this screed after I view the clip again.

If I do not finish the screed,  I failed in finding opportunity to clearly distinguish between the Taliban and the Tea Party (except for literal killings of people who do not follow Taliban doctrine). Yes, But the Tea Party practices figurative killings (threats and actual enactment of work to unseat republicans who do not comply with its dogma).  Oh Man, I am just going to stop.

The Newsroom Wins.  I admit defeat!

"Dishonorable Discharge’, Discredited; GOP Leak Attacks on Obama, Discredited

In Dishonorable Discharge, False charges, GOP attacks on leaks discredited, Seal Book, Tea Party on August 23, 2012 at 6:02 PM

Discredited!
A few days back, I published a piece about a 22 minute video “The Progressive Influence: Tea Party “Dishonorable Disclosure “.  The video was produced by an acknowledged Tea Party official and included comment from a former Navy Seal (A GOP official). The underlying theme of the video, or the target of the video, is President Obama’s rightful and honorable completion of the elimination of Osama bin Laden.  While, the tea party producer of the video professes concern about ‘ mission leaks’ that can endanger future missions, the video so obviously represents a cheap shot against a Commandeer-in-Chief.
Twenty-two minutes of pure garbage!
GOP official (Seal? Yes but that was once upon a time)

A couple of additional issues have come to light about ‘leaks’ and the origin and focus of the 22 minutes of crap.
Image only (Apparently some are not so secretive!)
Apparently, one of the Seal Team members who ‘took-out’ bin Laden is an opportunist. He sought and received an Honorable Discharge from the military, and seems to have occupied himself with a quest for riches.  He joins the ranks of ‘everybody is writing a book’.  Of course, he writes under a pseudo-name.

Question?  Is it possible the leaks published in the New York Times, factually, did not come from the White House?

Another point related to the 22 minute ‘attack’ on the president was covered in the Chris Matthews Hardball Show today.  As is generally the case when a entity steps-out with an electronic message based in subterfuge, there is an opposite and equally powerful response.

Hardball…..
