Obama Press Conference And The Inane Palin (Rubio Misstep)

In Marco Rubio, Obama press conference, Palin comments on IRS Issue on May 14, 2013 at 7:23 PM

I like how he wrote, "...demand the IRS Commissioner's resignation, effectively immediately." Spell check doesn't catch the wrong word spelled correctly. (RA)
I like how he wrote, “…demand the IRS Commissioner’s resignation, effectively immediately.” Spell check doesn’t catch the wrong word spelled correctly.

Since there is no IRS Commissioner other than acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller,  we  assume Rubio, “typoed” through a request to terminate the service of an acting Commissioner.  But, we doubt it!

We invited you to take a look at how Fox News reported the first sentences of Rubio’s request to the White House.
“I strongly urge that you and President Obama demand the IRS Commissioner’s resignation, effective immediately,” Rubio said in the letter. “No government agency that has behaved in such a manner can possibly instill any faith and respect from the American public.”

Before we go farther, let me state, we agree that corrective action must be taken to rid the agency of such practices. If the agency had target liberal groups  we would be raising hell, so hell should be raised regarding the other end of the spectrum. We write such, but o he best our our currently ability we cannot find that any request for tax exempt status was denied.

It should be noted that Schulman was nominated for the commission position as the Bush economy was crumbling as if in the middle of an erupting volcano. He was a Bush Nominee!

It appears a The New York is attacking the IRS and the former commissioner as if he stole money.  In late 2012, the NYT reported on the very initiatives that may have contributed to the current revelations.

Douglas Shulman, commissioner of the
Internal Revenue Service.

The I.R.S. commissioner Douglas Shulman announced Wednesday that he will leave his post next month, ending a four-and-a-half year term during which he modernized some of the agency’s infrastructure while cracking down on tax dodging by corporations and offshore tax evasion by individuals.

…..But his signature achievement was to crack down on tax avoidance. Mr. Shulman rattled many accountants and major corporations by instituting new regulations requiring that companies reveal more details to the I.R.S. about the aggressive strategies they use to lower their federal income tax bills.

Now take a look at what has to be a Palin Ghost writers’s work. There is no way Plain had a hand in development of the following.  I say that because while, flawed in typical Palin lies, manipulation or cognitive lapses, it is fairly grammatical sound writing.

Palin on Facebook

Today we learned that our government targeted and harassed conservative Americans who simply wanted to be involved in the national discussion. Is it any wonder why Americans are so distrustful of D.C.? I’m sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night.

So many Americans knew this was happening, but many felt defenseless and even helpless against a government that seems to roll along without accountability or sense of obligation to the people it’s supposed to serve. These Americans were mocked for being concerned about this, but now we see light shining on the truth, finally.

This IRS revelation is another step in the unraveling of the Obama administration’s self-proclaimed “hope and change.” Between the Benghazi cover-up and the IRS targeting Obama’s political opponents, we see the corruption at the heart of big government.
Americans should remember that this same corrupt IRS will be in charge of enforcing Obamacare. And this same inept and corrupt government will supposedly secure our now unsecured borders in advance of immigration reform and will implement a completely ethical and non-political IPAB panel to make life and death health care decisions for you and your family. Forgive me for not trusting these big government promises any more than I trust the White House’s latest Benghazi spin or the IRS’ fairness.
Despite all of this, I still believe that this “fundamental transformation of America” is temporary. This attempted transformation into a disheartened, weakened, unrecognizable nation is so far below anything Americans deserve. It becomes permanent only if we throw up our hands and surrender to the corruption and cover-ups.
We must demand more light shine on all that’s transpiring in D.C.’s self-absorbed bubble. On the IRS scandal, we must have accountability and a full investigation. On Benghazi, Speaker Boehner must create a Select Committee with full investigative and subpoena authority to get to the bottom of the cover-up. Keep the faith, friends.

- Sarah Palin

We will not deal with the Facebook feed in its entirety, but we must address one typical Palin-like comment
“I’m sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night.”
First, we cannot find records that any request was denied. So, “pull-off” is a bit of a stretch. We will agree that Schulman’s charge and focus coming into the IRS was to watchdog of tax exempt overuse and tax avoidance by people who, frankly, earn high dollars. Second, “grateful for the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign….” Since, all request for tax exempt status were approved, we cannot find rational validation of Palin’s comment. (Surprise!).   We easily located other factors that may have contributed to President Obama’s reelection.

Shock and Awe on Women
I. Limbaugh on Fluke: “Slut, prostituteII. Limbaugh on Fluke: Let us watch you have sex!III. Matters of Rape (AKA Todd Akin  and company)IV. GOP refusal to consider issue of Womens’ Pay equity

Obama’s: Battle of the Polling Databases

There are more reasons for President’ Obama’s success in winning reelection.  We labored to list a few in response to Palin’s inane comments about IRS impact on helping Obama win reelection.

One last Palin utterance.

“Americans should remember that this same corrupt IRS will be in charge of enforcing Obamacare. And this same inept and corrupt government will supposedly secure our now unsecured borders in advance of immigration reform and will implement a completely ethical and non-political IPAB panel to make life and death health care decisions for you and your family. Forgive me for not trusting these big government promises any more than I trust the White House’s latest Benghazi spin or the IRS’ fairness.”

WHAT? Now that mess was classic Palin.

President Obama addressed the issue today. I do not care for his “if these reports are true” qualification. It appears the reports are definitely true.  The salient poinn is why and “get it stopped”.

President Obama on I.R.S. Scrutiny

The Goes On The Offensive Via Frank Talk! Benghazi and the IRS

In Benghazi, CNN, Fox News Insider, IRS, MSNBC, Obama May 13, press conference, Witchhunt on May 14, 2013 at 7:09 PM

Let’s review a press conference for the ages and analysis on the IRS issue via Rachel Maddow (below).

I often used video from MSNBC for obvious reason, he network is the voice of progressives in a sea of conservative media.  We know of the role Fox News plays in US politics. You should also know that CNN has embarked on direct competitive attacks against Fox to steal viewers.  The sad part of that dynamic  while understandable from a revenue perspective, it places CNN in the precarious position of, “What happens when you guys fail?”  The network will never steal enough hardcore FoxPEN (Fox Propaganda and Entertainment Network) sycophants to have market share impact. If you doubt my posit on CNN’s changed business model, each their booked guest and pundits.

You will notice the second video segment below is of Fox News. We like “Fair and Balanced.”

This week in US politics has been both busy, disgusting and revealing.  Prime Minister Cameron’s visit to the US has been tarnished by ‘hopes’ and claims of scandal from the Right.  We have yet to find validity in either claim. Two of the most noisy claims from the Right are: “Benghazi” and the IRS alleged victimization of the tea party.  Associated with those claims are keywords like, “Cover-up” and  “Abuse of power.” The Right dares speak about abuse of power as if Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice never existed.  If you need a bit of icing on that spoiled cake, mixed and baked by the Right  add a bit of insanity.  Dick Cheney speaks out of the side of his crooked mouth like no other.

Maddow on the IRS issue.

The segment is 10:24 minutes, but the issue demands deep analysis and opine.  Ultimately, Maddow ends the piece with, “IT MUST BE STOPPED!”

Since, this issue is unfolding as we breathe, I will leave this one for deeper probing by the Department of Justice.
Fox News Insider also published a piece on Obama’s reaction to claims of a cover-up.
‘There’s No There There’: Obama Slams GOP for Criticism Over Benghazi Talking Points

President Obama went after Republicans for creating a political “sideshow” by continuing to accuse his administration of intentionally altering the Benghazi talking points in order to remove references to terrorism.

UPWORTHY…….. published the yellow and black infographic below.  As I was perusing the visual exhibit,  I saw on another page something from the Tea Party.  Or, I should say for a Tea Party Patriots Dot Org page.  Yes, thank you 42 members of Congress who refuse to even allow a vote on background checks.

As you view the following. remember 91% of the nation felt that background checks was not only acceptable, but good for the greater society.

You will notice the lowly democrats who voted for the bill are not bought stooges, but stooges nonetheless. As far as Ayotte is concerned, no comment. Her district will deal with her vote.
