The Whirling Wind Whips Up A Tornado For #VoteBue

In #‎VoteBlue‬, Benjamin T. Moore Jr, http://schemas.google.com/blogger/2008/kind#post, THE REPUBLICAN ARGUMENT, TPI on October 27, 2015 at 3:11 PM

Friends of the TPI, Benjamin T. Moore Jr. posits and simply nails it. I have long held the belief and commitment that I will vote for the Democrat Donkey before I will consider a GOP vote.

Benjamin T Moore Jr's photo.

THE REPUBLICAN ARGUMENT CAN BE DISTILLED DOWN TO THIS:

After we crashed the economy – last time they were in power – started two wars without end, raided pension funds, nearly destroyed our manufacturing industry, blew up the banking industry, crashed the stock market, threw millions of people out of their homes – sub prime debacle – made it impossible for people to retire and caused the economy to hemorrhage 800,000 jobs a month… President Obama is a failed President because he did not clean up their mess quickly enough!

That’s their argument if we take racism and bigotry out of the picture. IF you buy their argument, they want you to give them the chance to do it again… WHY? Because they now claim they simply didn’t go far enough!

Because I UNDERSTAND what’s at stake… I will GLADLY vote for Hillary, Bernie or a GENERIC Democrat! I KNOW what the Republicans will do if given an opportunity.

Both parties are the same? Right wing, Left wing both parts of the same bird? Perhaps but we’ve seen that the Right wing is broken! I’ve got to go with the Left wing. ‪#‎VoteBlue‬ ‪#‎UniteBlue‬

TPI Gazette: Racism, Cop Abuse, Ben Carson, What no Trump?

Non-Progressive News

Mother Jones (via The Progressive Mind) delves into the Ron and Rand Paul adviser who would buy an endorsement. If you think money in politics only relates to buying media advertisements and paying staff for legal responsibilities, you should think much deeper. We live with a shadowy and real world of political operatives and dirty-tricksters.  Why  does it not surprise the Pauls would find themselves immersed in one such case?

The ever-present apology and yet another example of how, in America, the apology has come to serve those who are caught with their pants around their ankles with no viable explanation of why. It is perfunctory and its former aura of intent to abandon undesirable behavior is now nothing more than “get me out of this.”  The following represents the perfect example of an apology to cover being placed out front as an unabashed racist.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Nails Police Abuse And Prosecutorial Malfeasnce

In Eugene Robinson . Tamir Brown, Joy Ann Reid, Lawrence O'Donnell, MSNBC, MSNBC's The Last Word, New York Police Deportment Union official, The Last Word, TPI on December 5, 2014 at 3:55 PM

The majority of readers of the TPI probably watch at least one MSNBC News show per day; a fact that I would be hard to refute. Yet, when I see and hear segments that really should receive far greater exposure, I link and embed the segment.

Some writers avoid use of video embeds and links with focus on recanting the story with interlacing personal opinion. A good methodology and practice as it offers you the reader opportunity for quick reads and assimilation of the writers point of view. I also interlace personal opinion, but I differ in avoiding the use and significance of providing video segments. My mission and purpose via the TPI is delivering complete messages. The assumption that I am best to capsulize, reshape an iterate the word of competent news and current events professionals, is not a thought that ;crosses my mind. I can never offer the impact and full scope of the video clip; my admiration goes out to social media writers who have the gift of delivering cogent screeds while speaking about the broadcast clip.

I am going to stretch my tendency for use of video, with a few segments from last night’s MSNBC’s The Last Word, Lawrence O’Donnell and his production team.

During the first segment, O’Donnell and panel discuss the extent to which the system failed Eric Garner. When the system fails anyone, it actually fails all; despite our lack of understand as events unfold. We better understand when such events reach into our respective and individual lives.

Lawrence O’Donnell, Joy Ann Reid and Eugene Robinson and a system that allowed Eric Garner to die on the streets of a New York City Burrow. Regardless of the statement from this MMA choker regarding no intent to kill Garner, the fact remains a gang of cops killed him and no one attempted any form of resuscitation. Linked here

The next The Last Word segment is much shorter in duration, but it is ironclad point-on as I consider my often posts related to cop hiring practices. TheCleveland Ohio cop killer of Tamir Rice should never have been employed as a cop and his professional records indicate he may have suffered from deep rooted psychological/emotional issues. When police departments hire the likes of Darren Wilson and the killer of Tamir Rice there is no remedy for abusive “badge” authority. These people are under-educated robots who in the Tamir Rice killer’s case sought “more action.” Linked here.

The final segment relates to prosecution and the words of a New York Police Deportment Union official. Words that truly embody what we as a nation are seeing when cops kill beyond the rational scope of their jobs. Linked here.

Need say nor write another word.

Justice Denied And A Reaction From Twitter (Web Lights)

I will not post comment about the Grand Jury ruling that freed the latest cop to enact exercise a justice system that allows the cop to serve as detective, prosecutor and executioner. Re-state, I will not do so until I start to see corroborating evidence of the the fallacy inherent in the (now celebrity) cop. And, that evidence will eventually ooz to the top, it always does.

As I perused social media this morning I found a quick hit piece from The Daily Kos, that truly lays open the extent to which the killing has energized a nation. Of course, a good portion of the energy is form the very people who will donate dollars to a half million dollar slush fund on behalf of the “killer cop.”

You can rest assured, the TPI will not report on the coming Darren Wilson celebrity tour that will surely emanate from ratings seeking electronic media.

Lawrence O’Donnell And The Shame Of The New York Times. Also "I Will F_ _king Kill You."

In 'I Will F**king Kill You', Bad Reporting, Lawrence O'Donnell, Mike Brown murder, Missouri Cop Ray Albers, MSNBC, St. Ann, The New York Times, TPI on August 21, 2014 at 6:21 PM

The video segment below is a must view. If you read or view nothing beyond the Lawrence O’Donnell segment, that is your choice. If you fail to give O’Donnell a viewing you are enabling both bad police work and you will miss a classic example of “media by the authorities.”  The articles referenced by O’Donnell isn’t worthy of linking on the TPI. The level of unprofessional reporting and slanted “copy” would not pass the scrutiny of Journalism students at a Junior College in a town of 5,000. Yet editors at the New York Times passed the article on for publish and “salting” the minds of those who do not question US media.

Bad Reporting via a Storied International Newspaper.

http://on.msnbc.com/1sW3Mut

I could spend an hour writing in opine about the O’Donnell piece. There is little need to opine beyond what follows. When one of the world’s most storied newspapers settles of diminutive reporting on the execution style killing of Mike Brown, you have to know the nation is in deep trouble.

I find it impossible to believe the wanton murder of a non-minority 18 year would receive the level of “almost apologetic” coverage as that delivered via the New York Times.

Andrew Rei: Debunks GOP Bunk!

In GOP lies, TPI on March 10, 2014 at 4:41 PM

A quick debunking of GOP-manufactured “scandals”

We know how truth-averse and fact-challenged the GOP are. So, here’s a primer to quickly debunk some of the scandals and talking points of the Fascist GOP, one day before the next CPAC meeting:
IRS “scandal”: Two people who had nothing to do with the situation were fired, including Lois Lerner.

e Cincinnati office, a Bush 43 appointee and an admitted Conservative Republican, confirmed that no one from the Obama administration told or pressured him to investigate the “charitable organizations”; it was all his decision, owing to IRS regulations.

This man also said that “key words” were used to determine which groups to investigate, but, they weren’t limited to “Tea Party” and “Conservative” groups, as the GOP propaganda suggests. All manner of groups were investigated.
In fact, the ONLY group that was denied tax-exempt status, despite the painfully obvious fact that ALL GOP groups are political groups, was a Progressive church in California. Every other group had tax-exempt status conferred upon them. This is now a settled matter and no more hearings need to be held, period.
AP “scandal”: also manufactured by the GOP, big time. The sad fact of the matter is that, ever since the GOP wrote, passed and signed into law the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001, our Constitutional rights have been restricted. One of those rights is the right of a “free press”. Even the Supreme Court’s “Feckless Five” Con majority has upheld that abomination of a law in five of the seven cases regarding it that have come before them. Ever since 1917, when the Espionage Act was passed, the courts of this country have consistently held that the press is not “free” to divulge national security secrets. However, they have ruled in favor of news organizations and journalists who have uncovered political corruption. But, since the Patriot Act, the waters have been muddied, as the GOP think that everything done is in the interest of “national security”. This problem and a few others are going to keep popping up until Congress has the balls to fully repeal the Patriot Act.
Fast & Furious “scandal”: definitely manufactured by the GOP. In fact, as it turns out, Rep. Darrell Issa’s “whistleblower” was the only person in the operation to allow guns to walk across the border, all THREE of them, from Arizona, the state with the weakest gun laws. This is projectional hypocrisy, as a Bush 43 administration-era effort, “Operation Wide Receiver”, allowed more than 2,000 guns to walk across the border. It was one of THOSE guns that was used to kill the Border Patrol officer, not one of the three from Fast and Furious, as GOP propaganda keeps telling us.
Benghazi! Benghazi! Benghazi!—-yikes. This is one of those situations best described as “making a mountain out of a molehill”. It makes no difference the reason the consulate in Benghazi was attacked, whether it was caused by that stupid movie or terrorists using the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to attack Americans abroad. As Hillary Clinton said about a year ago, “what does it matter now? We have to make sure it doesn’t happen again”. In addition, three other facts blow this “scandal” or “cover-up” out of the water: first, Ambassador Stevens refused an offer for more security assets in Benghazi and Tripoli. Outright refused. Second, the House GOP voted for and was successful in cutting the embassy/consulate security budget. In 2012, the cuts equaled $330 million. They started in 2011, with about $110 million. For Fiscal Years 2013 and 2014, they’ve cut the budget even further. Third, a recent report from the Inspector General indicated that the military could not have went from where they were elsewhere in Africa to make it to Benghazi in time to prevent the attack or fend off the attackers. In fact, the Army General and Navy Admiral in charge of the area were both fired by the President for refusing to carry out orders to do something about the attacks. The General and the Admiral confirmed that they couldn’t send assets there in time, but they also elected not to send anything after the attack, despite being ordered to, so they were fired.
PPACA (GOP dog whistle term, “Obamacare”) “scandal”: Again, manufactured by the GOP. The GOP have long claimed that the PPACA would “collapse under its own weight”. But, when it didn’t, they decided to try and make it look like it would, especially regarding the federal exchange rollout. The GOP secretly hired hackers to sabotage the website. This is something the GOP love to do: claim something doesn’t work, like government, and then go out and take steps to prove it, making them “self-fulfilling prophesies”. Of course, there’s the stupid “death panels” argument, which also turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophesy, as the Red states are the ones that refuse to accept the fully-funded (for the first three years) Medicaid expansion, which will leave about 4 million people without health insurance coverage. Of course, we almost shouldn’t have to mention the fact that they’ve outright lied about premiums and the true cost of healthcare coverage under the law.
There you have it, five of the “scandals” manufactured by the GOP, thoroughly debunked. Remember that, because the latest CPAC parade of lunacy and idiocy starts tomorrow, there’ll be more “scandals”/BS/propaganda and talking points to debunk. I would hope that they have different ones, as the ones they’ve been using/spouting have been constantly and thoroughly debunked. They’re pathetic, old and tired.

The Real Christe’s "Closet" Is Opening-up! IsThere A Cover-up (Wrap) In The Closet?

THE WEBS HE WEAVES — Instead of having his stomach stapled, NJ Gov. Chris Christie should have had his mouth stapled. Weight isn’t the only thing Christie is losing. Now that’s interesting – as some might try to argue that Christie’s quotes are talking about not knowing about the allegations of impropriety, not that he didn’t know about the actual lane closures while it was happening. But, the reporter from the Bergen Record says he asked Christie specifically about whether he knew about the closures at all while they were happening, and Christie said no.

Palin And Nugent: White Privilege At Its Very Worse!

In Cycle of Oppression, Fabric of Oppression, Sarah Palin, Ted Nugent, TPI on January 23, 2014 at 10:27 AM

President Obama from a The New Yorker interview for publication on January, 27th.
USA Today

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama told The New Yorker in its Jan. 27 publication.

Obama also said “there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president.”

Sarah Palin on Monday (A day of celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.). Let’s be clear and without equivocation, despite hatred on the far-right and among may conservatives  Dr. King has become a beacon of light in US History. is place in our history is set and cannot be taken away via regressivism for many whites (and black conservatives) who want to return the US to the days of Jim Crow.  Before we move-on we think of ten state axiom: “Isms travel in bunches.”  Regressivism will each into every fabric of our society and you shroud be able to see signs that the 92% white male GOP is on a path of “difficult” return. The GOP “War on Women” Is pronounced and spreading on a daily basis.  Conservative contempt LGBT people is as obvious as January following December on the Roman Calendar.

For those who troll around for idiocy, you may twist and interpret the calendar for sake of throwing silliness about, via reversing my comment; December follows January in the Roman Calendar.  If that makes you feel better or allows you to avoid troll silliness to placate your ego.   The salient point conservative elitism and oppression towards major swaths of the population are as real as the Roman calendar.

Even if you did not celebrate MLK Day in any way the central point is you probably did not go out of your way to exhibit overt racism.  Overt racism in may cases directly from a deep inner core of people who have been raised to believe they are superior to another based on culture, race, ethnicity and gender. People who believe such and simply refuse to extrapolate their twists social and psychological deficiencies, simply allowed the day to pass and enjoyed their day off.  If you were scheduled off for the national holiday your did to report to work. I will wager very few MLK and civil rights haters petitioned their bosses to protect MLK day by showing up at work.  Yet, few dared use the day to show the level and scope of their overwhelming ignorance and personal forms of racism.

We start with one who raises her head with each photo or “attention” opportunity to remind her sycophants she is out there. Sarah Palin shows why the nation is blessed McCain/Palin were not voted into the White House. She slithers around like a camouflaged opportunistic Boa Constrictor lurking to strike. Yet. She strikes without gripping fangs, she strikes with her personal branding handed to the nation via her asinine nomination for the VP slot on the 2008 ticket. And, that branding guarantees income flow for appearances and book deals during the most opportune period (e.g., elections, certain holidays, and major political speeches).

Here is a example of an opportunist’s lurch to snare the minds and psyches of people who actually listen to her.

The Daily Kos

“Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page on Monday, the national holiday marking the civil rights icon’s birthday.

President Obama has appropriately and very infrequently spoken-out about issues of race when such issue warranted comment for a president of the Unite States. He has never once, spoken his perception of GOP obstruction to his administration and obvious personal hatred from many on the right to his race. He has done so, and he was right in his assessment and equally correct in speaking-out as he moves away form the presidency.
Obama is not a person who allows himself to ramble about sticking his foot in his mouth with zany misstatements. Hence his heavy use of pre-written and teleprompter aided speeches and comments.

We digress….  The one time he spoke extemporaneous was his comments about “keeping your health coverage.” and we posit he may very well have actually believe the law was written as such. President Obama may have made the grievous mistake of failing to completely recognize the extent to which corporate America feeds itself (all corporate major stakeholders) at the expense of customers.  He certainly underestimated the skill and acumen of corporate lawyers who scrub through laws for corporate leverage and advantage. Let me assure you it happens on a daily basis; the very reason corporations employ and retain highly compensated lawyers.

Nonetheless, Obama has never once attributed GOP obstruction and conservative hatred to issues of his ethnicity. He has now spoken frankly about the fact there are people who are not ready for an African-American as president. He also carefully worded his remarks to touch on the reality some Americans are fond of Obama as president and with some consideration of his ethnicity.

Let’s take a quick look at Palin from an unknown author via via Facebook posting. We deleted references to children from the following anecdotal depiction of one who feels she can counsel Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States of America.

Sarah Palin (Note: the author was kind in omitting references to “Refudiate” and references to “Paul Revere.”)

  • Used the Canadian healthcare system for doctors and medication.
  • Married, More children who followed in her footsteps.
  • Mayor of Wasilla population 5000.
  • As mayor she appointed a town manager because the job was too hard.
  • The current mayor said that the only busy day was Tuesday when she had to sign 100 checks for the workers.
  • Gave a no bid contract for a $20 million Hockey stadium and as quid pro quo the developer built her a mansion for free.
  • Left Wasilla in 20 million debt.
  • Ran for governor.
  • Won due to the power of the wink and fabricated history.
  • As governor she addressed a group of secessionists that her husband was a member of.
  • They planned to secede from America and saw it as the enemy.
  • Apparently watched the skies to see Putin flying over.
  • Was for a bridge to nowhere before she was against it.
  • Set a state record for ethics violations.
  • Was chosen to be the running mate for John McCain. Destroyed any hopes of McCain winning by destroying any shred of credibility he had. Which was not much to begin with.
  • Quit as governor midterm to help America in other ways.
  • Confided in friends and family that being governor was hard work and boring.
  • Had a book ghost written written with her name on it.
  • The book was proved to be full of inaccuracies and poor me the victim anecdotes.
  • Became rich.
  • Became a critic on all matters Obama.
  • All proved to be irrational and unhinged babbling.
  • Endorsed several politicians in 2010, most lost and the rest were voted out in 2012. So not much value in her endorsements.
  • Became a Fox pundit where she snipes and whines and is as unfair and unbalanced as the rest of these happy campers.
  • Claims to be a patriot but secession will do.
  • Used the million veteran march to showboat and used them as pawns in a petty, partisan petulant, rabble rousing performance in high farce.

And to round it off she race baited the president on MLK day a day about MLK and not a day about her.

A few illustrations of Obama’s patience and reticence regarding issues of race before we offer an even more racist and vile example of which we speak.

Palin babbles about the “race card.”  We guess, in addition to seeking attention for books sales and personal for -fee appearance, she choices to ignore the overwhelming and disgusting exhibition of racism from people who have issues with Obama as President. “Don’t play the race card” comments when we live in a world delineated in the images above validates Palin’s lack of intellect and her penchant for leveraging opportunities to provide revenue for her “brand.”

We offer another example……

Mediaite (via YouTube)
http://youtu.be/s0m9WxmoBHQ

MediaMatters on the Network and public forum that supports overt racism and far-right demagoguery.

Nugent made the comment during a January 17 interview with Guns.com at the 2014 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show), an annual gun industry trade show that draws 60,000 firearms industry professionals. Nugent was representing the Outdoor Channel, which airs his hunting show Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild. Nugent and Outdoor Channel recently announced a multi-year endorsement deal where Nugent will make “talent appearances on the network’s behalf at top consumer and industry trade events.” In announcing the deal, Outdoor Channel’s CEO said that Nugent “symbolizes everything that is right in our industry.”

We will place the person above in true perspective, if you have an additional 3:40 minutes.  Linked; longer HD versions Linked. Of course, the CBS interview and analysis do not touch into issues of race, they are posted to address the mindset of people who earn copious fees, garner attention, and are provided platforms for what can be described only as racist.

If Nugent’s comments above are not clear, recognize people to whom he speaks clearly understand his word choices. Referring to the president of the United States as a “mongrel” places Nugent’s remarks in a much darker chasm of the  racism than those spoken by Palin.

“Mongrel”
Merriam-Webster dictionary defines mongrel as “a dog with parents of different breeds.”

Do you find it intriguing fifty plus years from his birth Barack H. Obama is being personally maligned related to race? He is being maligned by people who fit the very paradigm to which the president spoke. They hate that he is president! We posit it is impossible race is not a guiding impetus for hatred from the two right-wing nut cases delineated in this screed. And, the two nut cases are mere tips of an iceberg that people really should admit.

Someone should remind Nugent of the downfall of one Craig Cobb, renowned white supremacist, who has fallen on tough times since his DNA indicated he is not as pure of race as a personal guiding principle and foundation of his racist paradigm (and preachings).

I often wondered how Craig Cobb allowed himself, in his blissful ignorance, to accept a DNA test.  His ignorance and lack of education guided the white supremacist directly into a trap that he should have known was in his path. The links also includes the rants and raves of a noted black separatist who often also comes across as a racist.

Here is the DNA “hook” abbreviated segment: http://youtu.be/mL1x71-AI1k?t=24m52s

Here is the one minute segment in which the DNA results were broadcast across the globe: http://youtu.be/Gm9LZiKuOLI

It would be great to see if Ted Nugent would sit for a DNA test? The underlying reason for development of this screed relates to overt exhibitions of “white privilege” and illustration of the “Fabric Of Oppression.”

The Fabric of Oppression

The Circle of Oppression
Since we referenced it above, and if you have read this far, you might find the following evidence of how people grow to adulthood with bigotry and racism emblazoned in their psyches as thoroughly as the ability to speak.
Cycle of Oppression

Both Palin and Nugent via their repeated forays into issues of race exemplify privilege not shared by people have ‘”conferred privilege’ simply as a birthright.

CBS Reports on 27% Dow Jones Increase; Continues To Draw TPI Ire

In Fox News, TPI on December 31, 2013 at 8:15 PM

And an apology for finding the news on CBS News!  The CBS market report will follow our CBS tirade. We seriously feel the need to address why we ran across the story.

The Pardu’s CBS tirade…..

As is standard practice, we at the TPI will develop a year end market and economy piece.  It is a bit early for final tallies, but we know housing is up, the Schiller Index is up to the positive, markets are up and unemployment is decreasing (although there are glitches in reporting on the unemployment rate).

After watching a rather dull bowl game, we failed to turn away from the CBS Evening News broadcast.  We offer a bit of background here. The 60 Minutes Benghazi story and revelation that CBS executive management hired a former Fox News executive (for its news division) in 2011, we refuse to tune-into CBS News. Why bother if we will be exposed to Fox News-CBS? A few words about David Rhodes and CBS before we move to the heart of this piece: the US stock market.

After following the Banghazi story for a few days, I ran across a piece about David Rhodes.  Apparently, Rhodes started his News career at the relatively new and fledgling Fox News. Basically, Rhodes eventually was responsible for following Roger Ailes and his boss Ruppert Murdoch in turning Fox News into an unabashed propaganda division for the GOP. Early on, we think it safe to assume he developed into a personal right-wing propaganda machine that eventually manifest at Fox in 2010. There is something very revealing about the backgrounds of people and how background shapes the individual and the person’s paradigm. You and I also know Fox is exceedingly successful in spreading Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) like no other media. The network outpaces the racist and sexist (party ideology leaning) tirades of Rush Limbaugh due to our affinity for securing news related information via television.  Isn’t it safe to assume the CBS hiring strategy was such that it could not help, but eventually end with a Benghazi story?

Rhodes was reported to have joined Fox News in 1996 after graduating from college.  He must have performed well in the Fox News model to acquire a senior level position over a 12 year period. Now, we get to the heart of the matter.

CBS executive management and Board of Directors must have embarked on a concerted effort to hire the former Fox News executive. The only reason for such a strategy would be to clone or to leverage Fox success in reaching audiences. Problem is CBS abandoned credible and competent investigative reporting (with the fake Benghazi story)  while cloning Fox’s prurient news model. We even recall reports Fox New had refused the story in the recent past.

As you approach the photo spread below recall Gretchen Carlson spoke on a radio show that women at Fox News were not allowed to wear pants.  Why?  The “why” is rhetorical; we know the answer.

CBS can, and should, maintain standards above the following and the Benghazi story.  Join me after the spread for a short video report on the US stock market over the course of 2013.
